Quoting FAQ
How are your products priced?
All job sites are priced on an individual basis and are not based on a metre rate. Our office is able to give indicative metre rates for our products for the purpose of budgeting.
How do I request a quote?
Simply fill in a contact form on the website with your details or call our office to arrange an appointment.
How do I accept my quote?
The quote sent to you has an acceptance slip at the bottom which needs to be completed and returned with the required deposit (usually 30 percent). Exceptions or variations to paying deposits only apply to account holders or if a contract has been entered into between Edge Concepts and a Builder.
What happens once I accept my quote?
The Salesperson who looked after your quote will discuss timing with you and have the job programmed into our works schedule. If you have specific requirements be sure to discuss this and we will endeavour to assist to the best of our capabilities.
Installation FAQ
How long does it take to complete the installation?
This is dependent on our current lead time which varies throughout the year. The average job takes around 3 weeks.
Once the installation is complete what happens?
You will be issued with the final invoice including Care Instructions on how to look after the products installed and upon receipt of payment the necessary Certification Documents will be released. These include Forms 15 and 16.

What products do you sell?
We manufacture, supply and install the following products;

- Aluminium Pool Fencing and Front Fencing and Gates
- Stainless Steel Handrails and Balustrades
- Aluminium Screens, Louvres and Awnings
- 1 off Custom Fences, Balustrades, Screens and Gates.
Do you do supply only?
Not generally, but we can provide supply only on some of our fabricated products.
Do you have temporary fencing?
Yes, we have temporary pool fencing panels and gates available for hire at competitive rates
What areas do you service?
We service the greater Brisbane area, north to the Sunshine Coast and south to Beenleigh. Supply only is available Australia wide.
Do your products meet with the Australian Standards?
All our products are manufactured and installed to the relevant Australian Standard and Building Codes.
Who certifies my fence/balustrade?
A private Certifier is generally organised by the Pool Builder or Builder. Otherwise your Council will be able to provide you with a list of local Certifiers. Your Certification Documents form part of your compliance requirements.
Do I need to earth my fence?
The Electrical Code states that any metal object with a cross sectional dimension of more than 100mm in any direction within 1250mm of the water’s edge is required to be earthed.
Who does the earthing?
The earthing needs to be completed by a licensed Electrical Contractor. We can assist the Electrical Contractor to achieve this.
